Four weeks to go until Thailand Yacht Show 2020
December 13, 2019
The Thailand Yacht Show is the country’s largest yachting and luxury lifestyle exhibition, and the fifth edition is set to take place from the 9th-12th of January 2020 at the Royal Phuket Marina.
The show has now secured its reputation as one of the Asia–Pacific region’s top-most boating events, and the upcoming show will display 60 vessels and 100 brands: Boat Lagoon Yachting will be displaying boats from Princess Yachts, Jeanneau and SACS, local chandlery experts Tonsai Marine Services will have Williams Jet Tenders and SeaKeeper Inc. will be showcasing their world-renowned gyro-stabilisers.
Around 70% of the marina is already booked by participants and attendees, and the nearby private island of Koh Rang Noi will be acting again as an extension of the event, with 6-8 international superyachts anchored and on display just a short tender ride from the Royal Phuket Marina, where the centre of the action will take place.
Koh Rang Noi will also host the evening VIP Welcome Party on Wednesday 8th January. From Friday until Sunday, the island will also be hosting amfAR – THAILAND 2020, running simultaneously with TYS 2020.
Award-winning Bangkok-based PR agency ‘Vivaldi’ will once again be acting as the public relations partner, hosting a press conference in December in Bangkok ahead of the event. CharterWorld is media partners to TYS 2020 and will provide further information on the upcoming fifth edition in Thailand.
